Summary of Position:
  • The Neuroscience Account Associate (NAA) is responsible for driving SKLSI product sales in conjunction with Neuroscience Account Managers within a region
  • The NAA must demonstrate a good understanding of the local healthcare marketplace and local payer landscape. The position requires a knowledge of appropriate disease states as well as the ability to communicate necessary technical, scientific and product information to called on Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
  • The NAA must be able to effectively collaborate with the Regional Sales Director, Neuroscience Account Managers, and Market Development Managers to strategically identify opportunities to advance SKLSI business at the Region level
  • The purpose of the NAA is to drive Region business results based on Regional Sales Director direction while establishing SKLSI as a future leader within the Central Nervous System (CNS) marketplace
  • Conduct all SKLSI business in a compliant manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Successfully complete all assigned training at a level deemed acceptable by the SKLSI Sales Training department and Sales Management
  2. Partner with the NAM team to drive Region level business per RSD direction. Execute tactics both personally and non-personally (i.e. phone) as directed
  3. Analyze data that will produce consistently strong SKLSI business results over time
  4. Deliver effective sales presentations to HCPs within the region and close for business by using PMRC-approved marketing materials and selling techniques to drive prescription growth
  5. Manage and deploy resources (e.g. budget for in-office meetings, speaker bureau programs, promotional spends, etc.) to ensure achievement of objectives on time, on budget, and fully in accordance with SKLSI's high ethical, regulatory, legal and compliance standards
  6. Acquire, leverage and retain knowledge of industry trends to become a more effective salesperson
  7. Serve as a collaborative partner in team environment
  8. Read, understand and utilize PMRC-approved materials to achieve SKLSI's specific product and business goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  9. Attend various sales training classes, sales meeting and national/regional conferences
  10. Complete administrative tasks in a timely and consistent manner and provide reports to supervisor regarding call activity and HCP feedback as requested
  11. Comply with all SKLSI Human Resource policies, procedures and systems
  12. Occasionally will be requested/required to conduct ad hoc duties to support the overall team/organization
Supervision Exercised:
  • None. Will be an individual contributor position that will assist Regional Sales Director and be dedicated resource supporting NAM Team
Qualifications:
Education Preferred:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree Required from accredited university
Work Experience:
  • Some level of pharma sales, business to business sales, or related healthcare experience required; 1-2 years preferred
  • College graduates with a focus in Pharmaceutical Sales considered
  • Epilepsy and/or CNS experience valued
  • Strong business and analytical experience
Physical and Mental Requirements:

Summary of Position:

  • The Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for driving SKLSI product sales within an assigned geography (territory)
  • The SSR must demonstrate a strong understanding of the local healthcare marketplace and local payer landscape. The position requires a knowledge of appropriate disease states as well as the ability to communicate necessary technical, scientific and product information to called on Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
  • The SSR must be able to effectively collaborate with field-based as well as home office personnel in developing effective Territory Business Plans that support SKLSI’s Commercial objectives
  • The purpose of the SSR is to drive Territory business results while establishing SKLSI as a future leader within the Central Nervous System (CNS) marketplace
  • Conduct all SKLSI business in a compliant manner

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Successfully complete all assigned training at a level deemed acceptable by the SKLSI Sales Training department and Sales Management
  2. Develop and maintain a current Territory Business Plan that effectively translates SKLSI’s Commercial objectives into actionable and achievable strategies/tactics at the Territory-level level
  3. Analyze data and manage territory to effectively target the sites of care that will produce consistently strong SKLSI business results over time
  4. Deliver effective sales presentations for HCPs within the territory and close business by using PMRC-approved marketing materials and selling techniques to drive prescription growth
  5. Manage and deploy resources (e.g. budget for in-office meetings, speaker bureau programs, promotional spends, etc.) to ensure achievement of objectives on time, on budget, and fully in accordance with SKLSI’s high ethical, regulatory, legal and compliance standards
  6. Acquire, leverage and retain knowledge of industry trends to become a more effective salesperson
  7. Serve as a key partner in team environment
  8. Meet established call plan and sales performance expectations
  9. Read, understand and utilize PMRC-approved materials to achieve SKLSI’s specific product and business goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  10. Attend various sales training classes, sales meeting and national/regional conferences
  11. Complete administrative tasks in a timely and consistent manner and provide reports to supervisor regarding call activity and HCP feedback as requested
  12. Support Home Office (HO) projects and initiatives as requested
  13. Comply with all SKLSI Human Resource policies, procedures and systems
  14. Occasionally will be requested/required to conduct ad hoc duties to support the overall team/organization

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree – Required from accredited university

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant healthcare, pharma, etc. Sales experience required
  • 5+ years of Sales experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry or related Healthcare markets highly preferred
  • Epilepsy and/or CNS experience in Neurology preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Work is typically performed in a field-based environment
  • Daily travel is required
